Welcome to my website, Poised to Lead, a blog about leadership in today’s highly competitive and evolving political globalization economy. In this blog, we will take a look at the big global picture as a reference to how it impacts us on a local economical level through the experience of the privately held company that keeps our communities functioning.
Hi there! I’m a tree and landscape business owner by day, a full-time dad, baseball instructor, business process, and system developer by night, and this is my website. I currently live in Bloomington, CA. I have two chickens, Nicole and Becky, that I care for, I like iced black coffee with caramel drizzles. (And I practice morning stretching and meditation.)
I started this blog as my response to the new global economy that we now find ourselves in due to the current “coronavirus pandemic.” As a small business owner, I find myself on the frontline with my clients, vendors, creditors, and employees, I see the concern in people’s behavior. For years we have been listening to the debate of our Country’s increasing deficit, and in more recent years, we began getting introduced to the term ‘Quantitative Easing.’ I don’t know how all this will play out, but I have a feeling that this term will have something to do with the resetting of the world economy. In my blog, I will discuss ways of adapting to our new economy and guide people along with business ideas, resources on how to start a business and help identify opportunities in online business. We will hear from business leaders who have been navigating challenging economies for years, and we will seek their wisdom on the future of small business.
